Dangerous Man
Do you ever have those dog days when you wake up feeling weak, tired, not ready to hit
the ground running or praying for that matter? You ever feel like you’re treading water, sinking fast, with no chance? Ever extend yourself so far that you come face to face with your limitations, with your weakness? Have you ever tried to live completely sinless! Perfect! I mean, Jesus-like perfection? And realize just how weak you really are!
Good! Cause that’s exactly when God’s power shows up.
Personal Reflection
Most days I wake up and say to myself… “I can’t.” Most days I feel like I’m in over my head, just struggling to tread water long enough to take my next breath. I’m Captain America without the Super-Soldier Serum. I’m Superman sitting on some kryptonite. I’m just weak.
But it’s not a hopeless kind of “I can’t.” It’s more of an uncanny appropriation of the awesome power of God. It’s renewing and invigorating. It’s Thor with his hammer back. It’s the Green Lantern’s lamp fully charged. It’s Iron Man with his arc reactor firing or Dr. Bruce Banner with an elevated heart rate!
This power is available to everyone who puts their eternal hope and present purpose in the person of Jesus Christ. But it’s not available to the strong, independent, or self-sufficient. It’s for the weak — and especially for the weak who know it, own it, and confess it.

I’m weak — but that’s where I belong. His Spirit in me, I’m Hulk kinda strong. Like Thor with his hammer, lightning in my hands. Leveled up with His Spirit, dialed into His plan.
Yeah, I’m weak… but dangerous. A supernatural man.
This song is the battle cry of every believer who has finally stopped pretending to have it all together. It’s the freedom that comes when you boast in your weakness so the power of Christ can rest on you.
I can’t. He never said I could. He can. And He always said He would.
Scripture Foundation
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. In what area of your life right now do you feel the most “I can’t”?
Are you still trying to be strong in your own power, or have you surrendered your weakness to God?
What would change if you truly believed His power is perfected in your weakness?
Where do you need to boast in your flaws, trials, or limitations so Christ’s power can show up?
Are you ready to be a “dangerous man” (or woman) — weak in yourself but supernaturally strong in Him?
Prayer
Father, I’m weak. Most days I feel it in my bones. I can’t do this on my own. I’m tired of pretending I have it all together.
Thank You that my weakness is not a disqualification — it’s the very place Your power shows up. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Make me dangerous for Your Kingdom.
When I feel like Captain America with no serum, remind me I have You. When I feel like Superman on kryptonite, remind me Your grace is sufficient. When I’m at the end of my rope, let Your power take over.
I can’t — but You never said I could. You can — and You always said You would.
Make me a supernatural, dangerous man (woman) for Your glory.
