Alive in Christ

There is only one Gospel.

“Alive in Christ” is a Christian Country anthem rooted in the truth that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone—not in striving, religion, performance, or works. Inspired by Galatians, Romans, and the freedom found in grace, this song is a reminder that righteousness is received, not earned.

From darkness to light, bondage to freedom, fear to faith—this is the story of a life crucified with Christ and made alive through Him.

At its heart, this song is also a quiet tribute to my late mentor, Dr. Wayne Barber—a faithful teacher of God’s Word, champion of grace, and a man deeply shaped by Galatians 2:20, his favorite verse:

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…” — Galatians 2:20

His life and teaching helped shape the Gospel convictions behind this song: Christ in us, grace over striving, freedom over bondage, and unwavering trust in God’s Word.
